Goldman Properties, in collaboration with City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, Venture Miami, and On Deck, is proud to announce and sponsor the inaugural Wyncubator Competition, to be held at the Wynwood Walls on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. We seek to identify the most innovative and disruptive tech startup and award that startup the opportunity to plant roots and thrive in Miami’s bustling Wynwood neighborhood.
The prize includes a one-year, rent-free lease of a newly furnished office (for up to ten employees) in the heart of Wynwood, five complimentary parking spaces in the Wynwood Garage, five annual memberships to the Wynwood Walls, and a full merit scholarship to one On Deck program.

The tech startup must:
- Have been in existence for less than one year
- Have no current formal office space (co-working space is acceptable)
- Have 10 or fewer employees
- Have had gross revenue of less than $1 million in 2020
- Be a company that uses technology to create its competitive advantage

Applications Must Be Received By: Monday, May 17, 2021, at noon.
After reviewing applications, we will select five finalists. The finalists will be notified by Friday, May 21, 2021. The finalists will be invited to make their pitch in person at the Wynwood Walls on May 26, 2021, before five Miami-based judges, representing the intersection of Wynwood and tech culture.
Applicants will be judged on four criteria: Progress, Product, Polish, and Wildcard.
- Progress: How much did the team accomplish in the short amount of time? How complex and impressive was this technically?
- Product: Did the team validate that there was a real need for the product? How strong is the idea as a business opportunity? Would you invest in this startup idea?
- Polish: How is the visual design and user experience of the product? How smooth was the pitch?
- Wildcard: Was there anything else about the company that made it memorable, special, etc.?
